About

The Visual Storyteller

I'm Drew, a multidisciplinary creative drawn to the intersection of art, animation, video, and sound. I create from instinct—led by feeling, curiosity, and whatever grabs my attention in the moment. That spontaneity is part of what makes my work both playful and unpredictable.

My influences are a collage of childhood icons and adult obsessions: the hand-built magic of Star Wars models, the texture-rich charm of Aardman Animation, the vivid soundscapes and aesthetic boldness of bands like ELO, AC/DC, and the sprawling imagination of '70s prog rock. I don’t pin down one emotion or theme because my work doesn’t live in just one place—it evolves with me.

Whether I’m building cinematic sequences in Unreal Engine, cutting video to the pulse of a beat, sculpting soundscapes from scratch, or rigging miniature models for VFX shots, I chase moments that spark something—an emotion, a memory, a sense of possibility.

At the heart of it all, I want people to feel impassioned when they see my work—to walk away with the urge to create something of their own.

Here I am in my studio, where all my creativity happens. I built this garden space about 15 years ago for music production. Since then, it’s grown into a creative hub for video, animation, and sound, while the workshop next door is where I reconnect with the tactile side of creativity—models, miniatures, and a love for detail that started in childhood.
